Our most popular garden for events!  Native plants all around you with a natural looking rock waterfall and stream that runs into a pond full of goldfish and water lillies.  To top it off there is a wonderful view of the Tararua's in the distance.

This garden is a really delightful experience.  ​Great for birthday celebrations and weddings.  It is so peaceful, especially with a gently cascading waterfall, and if you hire speakers and sound system you can have the music of your choice playing from the foliage.  What more could you want?

The Native Garden is a flat 120 sqmtr lawn and can hold up to 200 people (120 if all seated).  It has easy access and is very private.  We have shade sails that we can set up to shade your guests, or perhaps you would prefer a marquee?  The view of the Tararua's is spectacular and makes a wonderful backdrop for any photo, adding a majestic but peaceful feel to the whole garden.
