Once you have had a tour of the gardens and decided to have your event at Glenview, you will need to become a member of the Glenview Country Gardens Club before you can book the venue for your event. Glenview Country Gardens Club acts like a customer loyalty scheme for those that hire the venue and agree to respect our conditions of use for the venue. The club is very easy to join, and is free for life!
We know that the best advertising we can get is from personal recommendations and word of mouth, so we give free club membership to those that hire the venue and give them great rewards. Club members get to feel a part of the development of the garden, have the right to visit the gardens for free in future, benefit from membership discounts for future events and receive rewards for recommending the garden to others. Glenview in turn receives the satisfaction of having provided a beautiful venue for another successful event, has the enjoyment of taking part in club members special days, and has a closer relationship with the users of the garden who we can trust will use it in accordance with the club rules.
If you are considering hiring Glenview Country Gardens for an event then send us your contact details and we can e-mail or post through to you a copy of the Club Application and Rules and the Hire Contract for your information, or we can just discuss it when you come to view the gardens.
About the Glenview Country Gardens Club:
There are no ongoing club membership costs such as yearly subscription fees or Glenview favours that you are obliged to fufill, you just make the specified contribution (see 'Fees' page above) whenever you book Glenview for an event. You then become a life member and receive a 5% discount on all future bookings. Members also get to visit the gardens for free in the future, such as coming for a picnic on your anniversary (access by appointment only).
Members also receive a 5% commission on future events that they have instigated by recommending the club to non-members. If a new member joining the club and booking the venue acknowledges that any existing member(s) recommended it to them, then the member(s) that recommended it get a 5% commission of that venue hire price (commission shared equally between them if more than one member's recommendation is cited).
